Montgomery County Public Schools

 Mr. Stephen Wenthold, RLS, has been working with Montgomery
County Public Schools over the past 20 years on the county growing
needs for elementary, middle and high schools throughout the
county. Civil Engineers and Architects enjoy working with Meridian

Cellular Communications Network Surveys
- Meridian Surveys, Inc has prepared FCC Surveys for Cellular One,
Nextel, AT&T, Sprint, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon in their on-going
development of their systems in the MidAtlantic area. Meridian
Surveys sites reached from the Mountains of West Virginia to the
beaches of The Eastern Shore of Maryland.

- Comcast Center-University of Maryland College Park, Maryland
- Meridian Surveys, Inc. prepared the preliminary topographic
survey, utility relocation surveys, right of way acquisition surveys,
and wetland surveys during the design and planning of this state of
the art multi-million dollar basketball facility, home of the
University of Maryland Terrapins.

Washington, D.C.
U.S. Supreme Court and Library of Congress in
Conjunction with Delon Hampton and Associates of Silver Spring, Maryland,
and the Office of the Architect of the Nation’s Capitol, Meridian Surveys,
Inc. prepared a boundary and topographic survey of these two historical
sites in Washington D.C., in conjunction with our Nation’s on going updating
of anti-terrorism and homeland security measures. |

United States Army Corps of Engineers
At the request of the Baltimore District of the Army
Corp of Engineers, Meridian Surveys prepared a boundary and topographic
survey on the existing McKinley Tech High School in Northeast Washington, DC
and the existing Randall Highlands Elementary School in Southeast
Washington, DC. Extensive utility research was performed to confirm the
location of underground utilities of which no existing records could be
found. |

CSX
Transportation
Meridian Surveys has extensive experience working with
the Facilities and Real Estate Division of CSX Transportation in the
surveying and development of surplus land that CSX owns in Washington, DC.
The Fedex Distribution Center, in Northeast Washington, DC and the Brentwood
Regional Mail Handling Facility in Northeast are a few examples. |
Washington Hospital Center
In partnership with Delon, Hampton and Associates,
Meridian Surveys has provided surveying support services for several
projects at the hospital site in Northeast Washington, DC, including: the
nuclear research addition, the proposed new substation, and the Emergency
Medical Services addition and subsequent renovation. Meridian Surveys
provided extensive storm drain and utility surveying services to solve a
continuing flood problem in the administration building at the Washington
Hospital Center.

Anacostia Naval Station & Washington Navy Yard
Meridian Surveys , in cooperation with the Baltimore District of the United
States Army Corps of Engineers researched and established a network of 75
monitoring wells in compliance with EPA standards to monitor water quality
in the vicinity of underground fuel storage tanks.

FAA Survey / Certification
In conjunction with the erection
of cellular antennas and towers throughout the country the FAA requires
accuracy statements affixed to the surveys for the proposed new facilities.
Utilizing GPS equipment, Meridian Surveys determines the geographic location
of the proposed facilities and then issues an accuracy statement that
certifies that the vertical and horizontal locations are within the
published accuracy tolerances of a FAA 2C or FAA 1A observation.
