This
type of survey is designed to establish or recover property corners and boundary
lines of a parcel of land. Any subdivision of a parcel of land will require the
boundary survey prior to the subdivision process. Constructing an addition to a
home, installing a fence along property lines or simply marking the extent of
your property are instances that would warrant a boundary survey being
performed. If the situation of "trespass" is to be proven, a boundary survey is
very often called for by the court to provide evidence of the facts.
